Abstract: In its latest judgement no. J. Kss 16 10 / 2013-84 of 10 January 2014 the Supreme Administrative Court decided on the topic of the dignity of the Czech judiciary. The judgement had set a clear framework for assessing the status of judges and its function since only dignified justice and decent judges may properly provide the ground for the rule of law, which meets the standards of modern law.
