Liability of Providers of Blog Services in the Foreign Case Law

Abstract: The exemption of the liability of the ISP providing blog services was the subject of the German and UK high court decisions. Both declared the liability unless the relevant state of knowledge can be established. Another important factor to be considered for the liability is whether the ISP took the reasonable care in respect to the complaint illegal content. It is only liable for not removing of disabling the illegal content.
